Competitions:
American Solar Challenge The American Solar Challenge (or "ASC") is a long distance race that has previously run from Chicago to Las Angles and is scheduled to run from Austin to Calgary in 2005 (passing through Fargo, the Sunsetters' home town, for the first time). This is a true test of the relibility of the vehicles and the skills of the teams involved. This is the largest event that we participate in.
Formula Sun Grand Prix Formula Sun Grand Prix is a closed track race held in Topeka, KS. This race serves as a qualifier and inspection for ASC and gives teams a chance to test their cars in a realistic environment with minimal risk.
